Fire burns Lagos Deputy Gov.'s residence

Lagos -  The police on Sunday said the fire at the residence of Mrs Adejoke Adefulire, Lagos State Deputy Governor, was a minor incident. 

The Area Commander, Area `A' Command Lion Building, ACP Imohinmi Edgal, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the incident was quickly controlled. 

"It was a minor fire which affected the Boys Quarters and was immediately put off with fire-extinguisher ," the police officer said. Edgal, however, attributed the fire to electrical fault, adding that nobody was harmed.
